Healthy Home Assessment

What does it involve?

This involves onsite assessing of your home to chemical exposure, indoor allergens, the impact of mould and moisture as well as drinking water.

Prior to this visual inspection you will also receive an online questionnaire to be completed by you to help us identify potential issues and what your requirements are.

The products we use within our homes and workplaces are just as important as the materials used to create these spaces. Different products can have positive or harmful effects and the solutions are often different for different spaces.

The misunderstanding that all germs are harmful to human health is incorrect and unfortunately widely believed. It is vitally important to have and build a strong immune system.  Everything has a role and when our cells no longer recognise what is healthy our immune system overreacts and attacks healthy organs and tissue in the body. The higher incidence of asthma and allergies in developed countries could be in part due to the overuse of chemical cleaners including bleach and ammonia.

We’ll give you simple, healthy strategies and practical and easy-to-implement recommendations in a detailed report following the assessment.

What will you get?

  • An initial interview over the phone and an online questionnaire.
  • A thorough visual inspection and testing of the site and building.
  • Discussion of findings on the day of the audit.
  • Sampling if required.
  • A written report based on assessment findings, which will include easy to follow solutions and recommendations on how to deal with environmental health hazards identified.
  • A follow up call.
